  1. on that show other then Hee Haw and Hooooooooudy! ) Because today is Thanksgiving, I was reminded of WKRP in Cincinnati and the gut butnisg Turkeys Away episode. I have an unholy love for Archer. (How you say, Wah wah ?) I agree with the point of playing satire straight. Some of the best comedy I’ve seen and done happens when the people perform it just commit fully to the premise and trust the audience to be able to find the comedy in it. I think that’s one reason Bill Murry can still pull off a lot of the same schtick from early in his carrier, we always completely inhabited that kind of, persona as if that’s just how he was. Don’t get me wrong, I love and respect Chevy Chase, but I don’t think he quite had that until more recently Or maybe I’m just talking through my hat. (Which I knit myself.)I’m not saying I can’t do adorable anime girl voice, I’m saying I WON’T.
