Big Shot, Chapter 3 – Puzzles Galore

The maître d’ spills some Café Americain about Danny.

The stranger in town is laser-focused on finding Danny Hillcrest. A fact that puzzles everyone who knows Danny. Even so, Giles, the front desk clerk at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers, attempted to be accommodating. He suggested the stranger speak with the hotel restaurant’s maître d’. A good suggestion. The supposedly-French headwaiter is all too happy to dish some dirt on the departed Danny.

Lending their voices in this episode are Grant Johnson (voicegranted.com) as the stranger; John Bell (thebatfry.com) as the Grassssssside Greene resident; Nathan Alvord as the maître ‘d; and Gary J. Chambers (garyjchambersvo.com) as the Narrator.

Big Shot, Chapter 1 – Danny In Distress

It looks like Danny Hillcrest is in over his head this time!

It’s the beginning of another April in Middling Fair. As you may know, the fourth month of the year is traditionally a time of chaos in town. And this year appears to be no exception. Even the Narrator is having issues! But it is Danny Hillcrest that seems to be serving as the lightning rod for disaster this time around. His attempts at selling his holiday rom com script to Hollywood have been less than successful. While that’s unfortunate, it’s not enough to cause a panic. And yet, Danny is jumpy. Scratch that. Danny is EXTRA jumpy. But why?

Lending their voices in this episode are Bonnie Kenderdine as Cindy; Nathan Alvord as the maître ‘d; and Gary J. Chambers (garyjchambersvo.com) as the Narrator.

Odd and Ends – Frank Talk About The Road

Transportation troubles.

Our regular cast of characters are all still busy working on this year’s big, multi-part story. Even Danny Hillcrest is unavailable. Although rumor has it Danny will be back very soon with some info on Summer movie. Until then, we’re once again daring to step inside Clinton’s mind to find out what’s bouncing around in there. Listen and be amazed.

This time, it seems that Clinton finds himself confused by everything that has to do with transportation. And we do mean everything.

First, he completely misunderstands the wording in a seemingly harmless TV commercial. The request the ad makes sounds reasonable enough — to most folks. But it soon lands our host in a lot of trouble with the law. To make matters even worse, while Clinton is trying to deal with that problem, he gets some shocking news. Someone has gone and changed the name of a beloved transportation icon. What? Why? Clinton has to find out. All this is enough to make his mind begin to question everthing that has to do with our highways and byways. He even begins to question the wisdom of the markings that guide us along our way.

You may never look at roads the same way again.

Odds and Ends – Digit Dilemma

Clinton takes a look at numbers.

We all use letters and numbers ever day and never stop to think about them. But that doesn’t stop Clinton’s brain from looking at them sideways. In this episode he questions everything about every single number after 13. It could leave you wondering about digits, too.

Of course, that logically leads him to questions about every single letter in the alphabet. Truly life-changing stuff here.

He also brings up an odd news story about humpback whales and somehow ties that in with his discussion of letters and numbers. Blame this whole digit dilemma on his odd brain.
