Nested Treasure

Digging into history. And a few eggshells.

As we continue our 31 days of Odd News stories, we the podcast travel to Spain. Well, not actually, but we’ll talk about people who did. And that’s what really matters. Because they find some nested treasur. We’ll also bring you a classic clip that may be more relevant now than it was in 2015. Let’s dive into things a bit deeper, shall we?

First up, we’ll have a look at researchers in Spain who have gone to great lengths, and heights, to do some archeological research. But these investigators aren’t chipping away at rocks or digging into sand while some guy wearing a fedora just looks on. No. Too bad, because that would be odd, too. These researchers are taking advantage of the traits of some winged creatures and their habits. You’ll have to tune in to hear exactly what these feathered hoarders managed to get their beaks on!

In addition as we continue to celebrate 20 years of comedy4cast, our so-called Platinum Anniversary of comedy4cast (PAC), we’re taking you back to 2015 for a clip that you might call  “The Land Before ChatGPT.” How close did we come to foreseeing the future? You be the judge. (But not a real one. It takes so long to go through the process, you might forget what the episode was about.) Just listen and hear what we did and have fun with it.

So, are you ready to hear a strange tale of nested treasure and revisit 2015? It’s all waiting for you. Just play the episode!

Don’t forget, you can also support comedy4cast and get episodes before everyone else for as little as $2 a month.
