Haartte goes in search of art.

Haartte wraps up the tale of his first case as a private detective in Middling Fair. He must locate a missing statue of Venus de Milo – while putting up with Danny Hillcrest. The mysterious stranger is hoping this story will give him some clues as to Danny’s whereabouts.

Now that Detective Haartte is face-to-face with the mysterious stranger, there are lots of questions to be asked. However, Haartte decides to talk about himself instead. Is this some clever ploy to trick the stranger? Or does the shameless shamus simply want to tell us his origin story?

Now that Cap has overheard part of a phone conversation by the mysterious stranger, he has to warn people that Danny could be in danger. There’s only one problem – instead of leaping into action, Cap has fallen asleep outside the stranger’s hotel room door. Uh oh. Does Cap need to be rescued now, too?

Cap continues the tale of Danny Hillcrest and the arcade game. The Stranger listens as Cap explains that Danny had become so good at “Clinical Catastrophe”, he started to attract a small following. But these groupies were not adding anything to the bottom line at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers. Ms. Falmacher decided she must come up with a plan to put an end to the misadventures of Bedpan Bob.
