comedy4cast #081: Podcast Cruise to Nowhere

It’s my second annual salute to podcasting just ahead of the Podcast Expo. This time around, see if you can identify the dozens of podcasts and videocasts that I mention in the skit. It could win you a prize. That’s right. Jot down the names of the podcasts and videocasts you hear mentioned in this skit, then email your list tocomedy4cast@gmail.com by October 31, 2006. I will select 7 winners from the responses with the most correct answers (my decisions are final, please). Each person will win a comedy4cast pin and ribbon. Good luck!

comedy4cast #078: Winners and Losers

I have to break the news to Danny Hillcrest that we lost the 2006 Pocast Award for Comedy.

FUN FACTS:
I want everyone to know that I was proud to have been nominated for the Podcast Award. It was a complete surprise to see comedy4cast on that list and it is something I will never forget. Thank you. And congratulations to all the nominees and winners. Now, it is true that there will be a break in the comedy action while I take a vacation, but I’ll be thinking about new skits and such while I am away. See you in September!

comedy4cast #077: The Edit Frenzy Machine

Professor Grinplay returns to help me get the show back under 4 minutes, thanks to his latest invention, the Edit Frenzy Machine.

Please consider giving a vote (just one only per email address) to Kathy Noll, in the Toyota Moving Forward Awards during August. Thanks!

FUN FACTS:
I found that, in order to give the “edit frenzy” dialogue just the right pacing, I had to throw in lots of extra gunts and asides. So, in the end, it is probably just as long as regular dialogue.
