660 Miles

Driven to find the perfect rustomod Ford.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our dive into strange-but-true events, it’s that life loves to set up a punchline. Welcome to the latest edition of our annual 31-part series, were we track down truly Odd News.

In today’s story, we meet a Texas retiree who is determined to secure a beautifully upgraded piece of automotive history: a 1962 Ford F-100. Not only has it been restored, but it has also been modified; a process that results in a “rustomod”. It’s kind of like the Bionic Man, but for cars. Anyway, our Texan journeyed 660 miles to get his dream vehicle. But we’ll tell you all about it in just a few minutes..

Then, to celebrate the Platinum Anniversary of comedy4cast (PAC), we’ve dug up a classic clip that is as relevant and absurd today as it was in 2015. Host Bob Dunster interviews the inimitable Professor Wilfred Q. Pasternakle. They discuss the unique campaigning problems that arise when over 600 people run for President. Listen as he lays out his ridiculous theory and makes a stunning prediction about the ultimate winner.

Stay streets ahead and listen to the full episode of comedy4cast, “660 Miles”. Why not right now? Its a comedy podcast episode you won’t want to let simply drive past you.
